Our values

ICTSI's commitment to our partners and communities began more than three decades ago in the Philippines. Our projects and terminals now span across six continents and are anchored in many of the same founding values that supported our sustainable approach to the growth of our business and host economies. Our five values guide our behavior and shape the basis of our purpose.

We lead with integrity, respect and compassion for our personnel, partners, communities and the environment. We are very proud to work responsibly in order to gain confidence and maintain it.

Love

We are pioneers in an industry with deep ties to the economies and communities in which we operate. We enjoy the challenge of exploring new opportunities, operating terminals, creating sustainable benefits for local communities, protecting the environment and, at the same time, providing return to our shareholders.

ABOUT US

Operating in its concession in the Port of Rio de Janeiro since 1998 and with its privileged location - in the largest economic region of Brazil - ICTSI Rio Brasil 1 offers differentiated maritime, road and rail access, while also having the advantage of being close to the main industrial oil and gas hubs and import and export centers.

The Terminal continuously invests in human capital, operations security, information technology, state-of-the-art equipment, warehouse and yard infrastructure for the storage of containers and project cargoes to offer its customers and partners productivity, high service levels and special commercial relationship.

ICTSI RIO Brasil 1

Now we are ICTSI RIO BRASIL 1, combining tradition and innovation, we still love serving! We became part of one of the largest port companies in the world, ICTSI - International Container Terminals Service Inc. (www.ictsi.com) and rely on the experience and knowledge acquired in the operations of 30 terminals in 18 countries.

Serving the import and export hubs that expand around it, ICTSI Rio is able to offer services for handling containers, reefer cargo, project cargo and cargo with IMDG Code classification, with segregation and storage areas dedicated to that kind of cargo. We also have our own CFS logistical support for export pre-stacking and unitization operations.

In recent years, investments of R$ 542 million were made in construction, acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment, which allowed the expansion of its operational capacity by about 70%, being able to operate efficiently and safely the largest ships that call at the Brazilian coast, guaranteeing the renewal of the concession until 2048.

Highlighting the latest generation equipment, we have 16 RTG (Rubber Tyred Gantry), 12 of which are electric, which allows us to have more than 50% of our vertical cargo handling equipment using renewable energy, thus contributing to the preservation of the environment.

The customs area expanded from 136 thousand m² to 188 thousand m² and the reactivation of the internal railway branch (2x 288 m) with capacity to serve up to 26 wagons allowed the business to expand.

In the continuous search for the improvement of our operations, we reaffirm our commitment to deliver more than a service, but rather efficient solutions that add value to your logistics chain, as any partnership should be.
